What was your biggest challenge as a mother before joining the 10 minutes parenting tools workshop?
1- I needed guidance my child is getting older now he is 9 yeards old ,I knew he should be treated differently
2- My daughter is 4 years old, she is different than her brother, I didnt know how to handle her
What was the main benefit of the workshop on your children ?
Children need to express their emotions. When I gave them space to release their anger, their negative feeling they calm down easily and quickly, not only that but they share their problems with me , listen to me, and trust my advice
– My daughter didn’t want to go to the doctor, she kept crying and crying and slept on the floor crying refusing to go
I Kept telling her I understand, ….and all the tips I learned from the classes. I assured her that I will explain to the doctor her concern not to put stick in her month
She asked me to repeated this promise several time,it was ok for me as I understands she wants assurance
She then accepted to go smoothly . She was very happy when we went to the doctor and that I kept my promise with her
The classes helped me to understand how it is important for our children and same for us to release our emotions and how it helps our children to listen to us , not only that but it improves their capabilities to think and cooperate
– Also after few days from attending the workshop and applying the 10 minutes parenting tools with my children , my son asked to talk with me separately in the room.
I was very happy he rarely do this with me.
I listen and listen to his problem which was that he think he is overweight and want to make a diet.
After I listen to him till he finished I told him I understand but this is the nature of your body let s make a plan for the sport and see if you still need diet
Although he wasn’t totally convinced with what I said, but he was happy that he shared his problem with me , he was relieved from his feeling when he felt that I listen to him carefully and was satisfied with the plan we agreed upon
